In the next few years, it is the goal of the Detroit Mechanix to bring the activity of Ultimate to the forefront of sports entertainment and community involvement. With an increase in childhood obesity rates and a declining life span of today's youth, it is critical to continue to introduce positive, healthy role modeling in the form of athletic competition. Also, a new team creates an economic stimulus to local business and charitable groups. When partnering with the Mechanix, you align your organization with integrity, hope, and positivity for years to come. Pure sport without all of the distractions of super-stardom and hype. Competition for the love of the game, and hard work to persevere. Passion, commitment to the fan experience, honor, dedication to the team. These are the traits that rivet our organization, and the foundations from which we elevate a new breed of community and charitable awareness.
